While you’re walking through the supermarket getting all the different ingredients you need for the Super Bowl Party, were sure that you tossed in a bag or two of tortilla chips. Any party is incomplete without some tortillas, but pairing it with store-bought salsa is definitely not the best idea. By getting the salsa from the shelf, you’re depriving yourself and your guests of the delicious, fresh, superior flavors of the homemade version, especially when it’s super easy and quick to make!

Salsa is made from a bunch of fresh ingredients, and homemade salsa means it’s chunkier, fresher, healthier, and thicker! Fresh Homemade Salsa

Ingredients

8 large ripe tomatoes

2 cap full of red wine vinegar

½ red onion or 2 shallots, chopped

½ cup fresh cilantro, chopped

3 cloves fresh garlic, chopped

3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

3 tablespoons freshly squeezed lime juice

2 teaspoons salt

2 tablespoons red enchilada sauce

Your favorite chips

Directions

1. Cut tomatoes in quarters, cut out the middle of tomatoes and dispose (or use later for tomato sauce)

2. Dices tomato into very small pieces.

3. Add to a large bowl tomatoes, red onion, garlic, cilantro, and mix.

4. Mix in red wine vinegar, lime juice, salt olive oil, and red enchilada sauce.

5. Mix well and serve with your favorite chips.
