Rock n Roll Tequila

Delray Beach resident Scott Woolley

Rock n Roll Tequila

Delray Beach resident Scott Woolley has never gotten over his early love of rock and roll. His journey began with an internship with a record label, but his latest rocking adventure revolves around his involvement with Rock n Roll Tequila.

Rock ‘n’ Roll Roots

While he was attending college at St. John University in New York City, Scott Woolley landed the kind of internship that most kids only dream about. He interned with Swan Song Records, the record label that Led Zeppelin launched in 1974. And as often happens with internships, Scott eventually got a job with the New York City-based label.

The list of the label’s artists and the albums that Scott worked on is impressive:

  • Led Zeppelin (Coda)
  • Robert Plant (Pictures at Eleven)
  • Jimmy Page (Death Wish 3)
  • Bad Company (Rough Diamonds)
  • Bad Company’s Simon Kirk (Wildlife)
  • Dave Edmunds

Scott also worked the concert side of the industry, shining a spotlight on for performers like:

  • Hall & Oats
  • Charlie Daniels
  • INXS
  • Adam Ant
  • The Kinks
  • David Johanson
  • Southside Johnny
  • The Ramones
  • The Allman Brothers
  • The Go Gos
  • Marshall Tucker
  • The Police – and others

That Was Then…

Today the spirit of Rock ‘n’ Roll that fueled Scott’s early activities in the music industry has been distilled and bottled!

Scott has his entrepreneurial fingers in quite a few pies, but none of them are as unique as Rock N Roll Tequila, the baby of another veteran of the music industry, producer Andy Herbst. Andy went in search of the perfect premium tequila and, when he didn’t find exactly what he was looking for, he teamed up with Master Distiller Jose Aceves, a third-generation tequila producer known for creating some of the smoothest blue agave tequila on earth, to create Rock N Roll Tequila.
If you love rock ‘n’ roll and you love tequila, you really should try Rock N Roll Tequila. And, if you live in South Florida, as Scott Woolley does, you should try the special Hard Rock edition, with the tequila in the guitar-shaped bottle honoring the guitar-shaped hotel!
